This 18" × 19.25" Rainbow Board gets every bit of its color from the wood itself. It's made from naturally colorful padauk, mahogany, and yellowheart, carefully pieced together to create those big beautiful rainbow arches.

No dyes. No stains. No painted-on color. Just really freaking cool wood. 🪵🌈

And yes, this rainbow means what you think it means. As a bisexual maker myself, this board absolutely represents LGBTQ+ Pride. 🏳️🌈

Making those rainbow arches look nice and simple when they're finished is one thing.

Getting all those curved pieces glued together perfectly is another. 😅

The clamping process for this board is honestly a sight to be seen. Each section has to be carefully fitted, glued, positioned, and clamped together in a pretty meticulous process before it becomes the nice clean rainbow you see here.

There's a whole lot of woodworking chaos hiding behind those seamless little arches. 🌈🪵

A NOTE ABOUT PADAUK ✦

Padauk is naturally VERY pigmented. That gorgeous reddish-orange color is exactly why I love using it, but its natural pigment can sometimes bleed or transfer, especially when the wood gets wet.

Your board is finished with a food-safe, non-toxic, moisture-repelling finish, which helps seal and contain the natural color, but some transfer can still occur.

To help prevent color bleeding, avoid soaking the board or leaving it wet, dry it promptly after washing, and keep it properly conditioned with cutting board oil.

Each Rainbow Board is designed and handmade by me, Brandy! Most items are made to order, so please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for me to create yours. If I already have one in stock, I'll ship it right away.

Because real wood is naturally unique, grain, tone, and color will naturally vary from board to board, making every rainbow a little different. 🌈🪵

CARE ✦

Hand wash with mild soap and water, then dry completely. DO NOT soak your Rainbow Board or put it in the dishwasher.

I recommend regularly treating it with Walrus Oil Cutting Board Oil to condition the wood and help repel moisture, followed by Walrus Oil Wood Wax if you'd like a little extra protection.

This is especially important with the padauk, since keeping the wood properly conditioned helps reduce moisture absorption and potential color transfer.

Treat it right and this rainbow can keep showing its Pride year after year. 🌈🫶
