"Stained Glass" Cutting & Charcuterie Board ✨🪵

My love letter to stained glass and Frank Lloyd Wright.

I’ve always been especially drawn to modern and Art Deco design: bold shapes, strong lines, geometric patterns, and the way a really good combination of colors can turn something functional into a piece of art.

For this board, I wanted to recreate the feeling of a stained glass window you might find in a Frank Lloyd Wright home, except instead of colored glass, every section is made from a different naturally colorful hardwood. 🪵✨

The result is one of my more design-forward boards: geometric, colorful, and made to be used just as much as it’s made to be admired.

FOUR WOODS. ONE BOARD. ✦

This design is made from four different hardwoods:

🤎 Mahogany
🤍 Maple
🖤 Walnut
💜💛 Your choice of Purpleheart or Yellowheart

Each species brings its own vibrant color and grain to the pattern, creating those distinct blocks of color without needing paint or stain.

And because these are real hardwoods, every board comes together a little differently depending on the grain and coloring of the individual pieces I select.

PURPLE OR YELLOW? ✦

This is where you get to choose the personality of your board.

💜 Purpleheart adds a rich natural purple accent that gives the whole design a slightly moodier look.

💛 Yellowheart adds a bright golden-yellow accent that makes the pattern feel warmer and sunnier.

Both colors are the actual natural color of the wood. No purple stain. No yellow paint. Just trees out here being gorge. 🌳✨

FUNCTIONAL ART ✦

The geometric pattern makes it feel more like a little piece of artwork than something that needs to disappear into a cabinet when dinner is over.

Use it for cutting and prep, load it up with cheese, fruit, crackers and snacks, use it as a serving board when people come over, and then prop it back up on your counter when you're done. 🧀🍇✨

Useful things are allowed to be really pretty.

MAKE IT YOUR OWN ✦

Add optional custom laser engraving to make your Stained Glass Board even more personal. Add a name, date, message, or something completely your own to create a one-of-a-kind gift. 🎁✨

If engraving is added on this board, I will normally be it in a very light engraving to not take away too much from the design.

MADE TO ORDER ✦

Each Stained Glass Board is made by me, Brandy! Most items are made to order, so please allow 2–3 weeks for me to create yours. If I already have one in stock, I’ll ship it right away.

CARE ✦

Hand wash with mild soap and lukewarm water and dry thoroughly. DO NOT put your Stained Glass Board in the dishwasher or leave it soaking in the sink. Water and wood do not mesh!

Store your board leaning so air can circulate around it. Re-oil as needed with a food-safe cutting board oil and wax to help repel moisture, condition the wood, and keep all four of those beautiful hardwoods looking their best. 🪵✨
