I WANT TO BELIEVE!!! What started as a common woodworking mishap turned into something a little more... extraterrestrial. Meet the Messages from Mars Coasters! A one-of-a-kind set of four walnut hardwood coasters featuring mysterious, alien-like markings filled with colorful epoxy for an almost radioactive glow! 

SO HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED! Once in a while, when you're not keeping a close enough eye on your CNC machine and haven't secured your wood quite as well as you should have, the wood can attempt an escape. Unfortunately, the CNC doesn't get the memo and just keeps cutting while the wood moves around beneath it. WELL, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED HERE!

But instead of tossing these little escape artists aside, I thought the accidental markings looked strangely intriguing. Almost like extraterrestrial hieroglyphics! So naturally, I filled the mysterious messages with various colorful epoxies, giving them a radioactive, otherworldly appearance. I mean, who am I to interfere with possible alien communication?!

THE UNIVERSE WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS! These coasters are truly one of a kind, created entirely by accident and impossible to replicate exactly. And now this little set of cosmic curiosities is UP FOR AUCTION! CARE ✦

Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly. DO NOT put your coasters in the dishwasher or leave them soaking in water. 

To keep the walnut looking its best, periodically condition the exposed wood with a suitable wood finish.
