Hot Dog Cutting & Charcuterie Board 🌭✨
Frankly, I think your kitchen needs this. 🌭✨
Relish the attention, because this one gets A LOT of it. The Hot Dog Board is hands down one of the most fun things I make and probably the piece that gets the most laughs. There’s just something about seeing a giant wooden hot dog sitting on someone’s counter that makes people LOL.
Made from mahogany and carefully selected birch hardwood, with your choice of a ketchup or mustard epoxy squiggle, he’s a fully functional cutting and serving board, and a guaranteed conversation starter. ❤️💛
Although I'm an unserious woodworker, I take this hot dog VERY seriously. Especially the bun.
IT’S ALL ABOUT THE BUN ✦
I’m VERY particular about the birch I use. I specifically hunt for pieces that have both lighter sapwood and darker heartwood running through them. That natural variation gives the bun those uneven golden-brown edges that make it look perfectly toasted. 🌭🔥
Sometimes... I just can’t find the right birch.
And when that happens, I don’t make Hot Dog Boards. Seriously. I’d rather stop selling them until the right wood comes along than use a piece of birch that doesn’t give me that toasty-bun effect.
It’s just not the same! The bun makes the Hot Dog. 🌭🪵

KETCHUP OR MUSTARD? ✦
Here’s where you have to make an important life decision.
💛 Mustard — The classic. The icon. Arguably the condiment a hot dog was born to wear.
❤️ Ketchup — I’m not here to judge what you put on your hot dog. This is a safe space.
Either way, the colorful EcoPoxy is poured into a groove running right down the center, giving your wooden hot dog its finishing touch. 🌭✨
ONE SIDE FOR CUTTING, ONE SIDE FOR SHOWING OFF ✦
The Hot Dog Board is fully functional, but I recommend doing your actual chopping on the side without the epoxy condiment detail. 🔪🪵
Then flip him over to the fun side for serving, charcuterie, and display. That way the plain hardwood side can take the brunt of your knife marks and you dont risk chipping off any epoxy while your ketchup or mustard side stays looking extra nice.
And when you’re not using him? Prop that condiment side up on your counter and display him. A 20-inch wooden hot dog with a perfectly toasted birch bun did not come all this way to live hidden in a cabinet. 🌭✨
SERVE IT UP ✦
If you’re having people over for a barbecue, cookout, pool party, or summer get-together, you already know who needs to make an appearance.🔥 🌭 🍔
Load him up with hot dogs fresh off the grill, burgers, buns, toppings, grilled veggies, corn on the cob, or all the fixings everyone needs to build their perfect plate.
He’s a serving board. He’s kitchen decor. He’s a 20-inch hot dog. Let him have his moment. 🌭
MAKE IT YOUR OWN ✦
Add optional custom laser engraving to make your Hot Dog Board one of a kind! Add a name, date, message, or something completely your own for a quirky personalized gift. I typically add it on the front side with the condiment (my logo is on the back) 🎁🌭
It also makes a pretty incredible housewarming, host, barbecue, hot dog lover, foodie, or just-really-likes-weird-stuff gift.
MADE TO ORDER ✦
Each Hot Dog Board is made by me, Brandy! Most items are made to order, so please allow 2–3 weeks for me to create yours. If I already have one in stock, I’ll ship it right away.
Because I’m working with real hardwood, grain, coloring, and that heartwood-to-sapwood variation will naturally differ from board to board. No two buns toast exactly alike. 🌭🔥✨
And remember: if I can’t find the right birch, Hot Dogs temporarily come off the menu. I refuse to serve an untoasted bun. 🌭
CARE ✦
Hand wash with mild soap and lukewarm water and dry thoroughly. DO NOT put your Hot Dog Board in the dishwasher or leave it soaking in the sink. Water and wood do not mesh!
Store your board on its side so air can circulate around it. Re-oil as needed with a food-safe cutting board oil and wax to help repel moisture, condition the wood, and keep it looking its best. 🪵✨
