A FOOT STOOL THAT LOOKS LIKE A SOCK?! Yep! This is my original Handy Dandy Brandy wooden step stool, but with a little extra personality! Made from durable plywood, fully assembled, and hand-painted to resemble a classic sock design. It's a fun, functional piece of furniture that doubles as a colorful little work of art!

STEP ON IT! Use it to give yourself a little boost when you can't quite reach something, or as a footrest, a child's little table, a TV tray, a plant stand, or even a Squatty Potty alternative! Whatever you want!

NOW HERE'S WHERE THINGS GOT A LITTLE OUT OF HAND. Somehow, I managed to spend approximately 20 HOURS PAINTING THIS THING. Yes, TWENTY. Am I a professionally trained painter? Nope! Am I a professional perfectionist and chronic critic of my own work who refuses to stop until I'm happy with the result? YEP. Every little detail was painted, inspected, critiqued, and probably repainted until I finally gave myself permission to call it finished.

SO YEAH, I PROBABLY WON'T BE MAKING THESE AGAIN! This little stool is a labor of love (and a questionable amount of patience), finished with multiple coats of protective polyurethane to help keep the artwork looking its best.

CARE ✦

Wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh cleaners, abrasive scrubbers, and prolonged exposure to moisture to protect the painted finish.

Although the stool is sealed with multiple coats of protective polyurethane, I recommend treating the painted surfaces with a little extra care to avoid scratches and chips. For plant stands, use a waterproof saucer to catch any excess water.
