The Coffin is a 10" × 16" coffin-shaped cutting and charcuterie board made from solid walnut hardwood and adorned with an engraved cross designed by Long Beach tattoo artist Jesse Ortega (@clarenceworley).

The angled edges are finished with a beveled detail that follows the shape of the coffin, giving the whole board a little extra dimension while showing off that beautiful walnut grain. 🪵✨

Use it for cutting, serving, charcuterie, snacks, cheese, or simply leave it out and let your kitchen get a little darker. 😎⚰️

Load your Coffin up with cheese, crackers, fruit, meats, desserts, appetizers, or whatever snacks you'd like to lay to rest. ⚰️🧀

It's fully functional as a cutting board too. If you want to preserve Jesse's artwork, I recommend doing most of your cutting on the non-engraved side and saving the illustrated side for serving and display.

Walnut is already one of my favorite woods, but that rich dark grain paired with the coffin shape just makes sense. 😎🪵

That cross isn't clip art!

The artwork was designed specifically for this board by Long Beach tattoo artist Jesse Ortega (@clarenceworley) and then transferred into the walnut with engraving and wood-burning techniques.

I love collaborating with other artists, and this one gets to bring a little bit of tattoo art into the kitchen. 🫶⚰️

MADE TO ORDER ✦

Each Coffin is handmade by me, Brandy! Most items are made to order, so please allow 2–3 weeks for me to create yours. If I already have one in stock, I'll ship it right away.

Because real wood is naturally unique, grain and color will vary slightly from board to board, making every Coffin a little different. 🪵

CARE ✦

Hand wash with mild soap and lukewarm water, then allow your board to dry completely. DO NOT put it in the dishwasher or leave it soaking in the sink. Water and wood do not mesh! 😭🪵

After washing, store your Coffin on its side so air can circulate around both sides while it dries.

Re-oil as needed with Walrus Oil Cutting Board Oil, followed by Walrus Oil Wood Wax for an extra moisture-repelling barrier and to keep that dark walnut grain looking its best. ✨
