Made for picnics, but way too cute to pack away afterward! 🧺 The Picnic Board is a handmade wooden cutting, charcuterie, and serving board inspired by the classic gingham pattern of a picnic blanket. The checkered design is created entirely from naturally contrasting maple, cherry, and padauk hardwoods, no paint or stain!

Bring it along for summer picnics, camping trips, beach days, or backyard hangs, then leave it out when you get home! The naturally colorful hardwoods add such a bright, cheerful pop of color and pattern to your countertop, so it doubles as cute designer kitchen decor when you're not using it.

Each board is designed and handmade by me, Brandy! Most items are made to order, so please allow 2–3 weeks for me to create yours. If I already have one in stock, I'll ship it right away.

Because real wood is naturally unique, grain and color will vary slightly from board to board, and that's part of what makes yours one of a kind!

CARE ✦

Hand wash with mild soap and lukewarm water and allow your board to dry completely. DO NOT put it in the dishwasher or leave it soaking in the sink. Water and wood do not mesh!

Store your board on its side so air can circulate around it. Re-oil as needed with Walrus Oil Cutting Board Oil and Wood Wax to condition the hardwood, help repel moisture, and keep those natural colors looking their best. You can grab both right here in my shop, or purchase them directly from Walrus Oil's website. 🪵✨

A LITTLE NOTE ABOUT PADAUK ✦

That gorgeous reddish-orange color comes naturally from padauk hardwood, with no paint or stain needed!

Because that color is naturally occurring in the wood, fresh padauk can sometimes release a little of its pigment when exposed to moisture. Don't panic if you notice a bit of reddish color on a damp towel. Keeping the wood properly conditioned with Walrus Oil Cutting Board Oil and Wood Wax will help repel moisture and minimize color transfer.

Over time, padauk's super-bright color will naturally deepen and mellow into a richer reddish-brown. That's completely normal and just part of the way this beautiful wood ages. 🧺🪵
