The In Chains Mirror is my take on an oversized chain link turned into a funky piece of functional wall art. The frame is cut from dense MDF on my CNC, carefully sealed, then finished with 2–3 coats of color-shifting chrome paint that changes depending on the light and angle.

It’s bold, a chameleon like you, and not here to quietly blend into your wall. 😎⛓️

This isn't just a mirror with a funky frame slapped around it. The chain link IS the frame. ⛓️

I cut the shape from dense MDF on my CNC, seal the entire thing, and then build up multiple coats of color-shifting chrome paint to get that shiny, dimensional finish.

Depending on where you stand and how the light hits it, you'll see the colors shift across the surface, so your mirror can look a little different throughout the day. ✨

This mirror is also VERY good at selfies. 📸⛓️

The oversized chain link creates a funky frame around your reflection, and that color-shifting chrome finish makes one heck of a backdrop. Hang it somewhere with good lighting and prepare for it to start making regular appearances on your camera roll.

The hanging hardware is already installed on the back, so all you need is an appropriately secured screw or nail in the wall and you're ready to go. 🪞🔨

Each In Chains Mirror is made by me from start to finish, from CNC cutting and sealing the frame to painting and assembling the finished mirror.

Most items are made to order, so please allow 2–3 weeks for me to create yours. If I already have one in stock, I'll ship it right away.

CARE ✦

Clean the mirror with your favorite glass cleaner and a soft, lint-free cloth, taking care not to spray cleaner directly onto the painted MDF frame.

For the frame, simply dust or gently wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners, abrasives, and excess moisture to keep that color-shifting finish looking its best. ✨
