This little Cloud Board is made from solid hard maple, and when I'm choosing the wood for these, I specifically hunt for the most beautifully figured maple I can find. I picture all those ripples and movement in the grain as sun rays bursting through the clouds. 🥹

At 16" × 8.5", this one's a shorty! It's a perfect everyday chopping board for smaller jobs, single-person households, and if you've got low cupboards, this little cloud knows its place. 😎

THIS ONE'S A SHORTY ✦

Not every cutting board needs to take over your entire countertop. ☁️

At just 8.5" tall, Cloud Board is especially handy if you have low-hanging upper cabinets or simply want something you can quickly grab when you don't need a giant cutting surface.

Chop an apple. Slice some cheese. Cut a lemon. Prep a sandwich. Small job? Little cloud's got it.

I especially love this size for single-person households where pulling out a massive cutting board every time you need to cut one tomato feels a little excessive. 😅

LOOK FOR THE SUNSHINE ✦

Maple can have some REALLY beautiful figuring, and I try to hunt down the most interesting pieces I can for these boards.

The ripples and movement in figured maple remind me of rays of sunlight bursting through a cloud, which feels pretty perfect for this shape. ☁️☀️

Because those patterns are created by nature, every Cloud Board will look a little different. Some pieces may have more figuring than others, but that's part of what makes each one unique.

Each Cloud Board is designed and handmade by me, Brandy! Most items are made to order, so please allow 2–3 weeks for me to create yours. If I already have one in stock, I'll ship it right away.

Because real wood is naturally unique, grain and figuring will vary from board to board, making every little cloud its own.

CARE ✦

Hand wash with mild soap and water, then dry completely. DO NOT soak your Cloud Board or put it in the dishwasher.

I recommend regularly treating it with Walrus Oil Cutting Board Oil to condition the maple and help repel moisture, followed by Walrus Oil Wood Wax if you'd like a little extra protection.

Take care of your little cloud and it'll keep floating around your kitchen for years to come. ☁️
